60 days of free telephone support. This support will be provided either by your reseller, if you buy from him, or from EasyCo direct if you purchase from us. |

1 year of free upgrades or platform-changes. Your license entitles you to upgrade your system to any release made available within 1 year of your purchase. It also permits you to change the platform your openQM copy runs on at any time during that year. For instance, if you purchase a Windows license, but later decide to change to Linux, you can do so at no cost.

Free Phantom processes. Your openQM system includes 8 free phantom processes. If your system has more than 4 users, additional phantoms will be provided at the rate of 1 per 2 ports purchased. |

No mandatory annual support. We don't believe in forcing you into support contracts that you may not like or need. Accordingly, support can be purchased a la carte. Similarly, you will be able to add users at the cost of those additional users, without supplementary payments. |

The 1 year of upgrades can be extended to a full 10 years of upgrades by paying a 25% supplement at the time of purchase. This enhanced coverage, costing just 2.8% per year of coverage is an exceptional value, because the odds are high that at sometime in the next 10 years you will upgrade your hardware.
Those who do not have such coverage cannot purchase it later. Instead, the existing system may be traded in for a new system. For trade-in purposes, the system is deemed to depreciate 20% per year (or fraction) after any upgrades entitlement expires (i.e. 1 or 10 years). However, depreciation will never exceed 80% of the price paid. |
